Laboratory facilities

Well - equipped laboratories offer best learning facilities to develop the technical skills through practical demonstrations before the students have clinical practice on patients.

 

  • FUNDAMENTAL OF NURSING LAB 

  • Fundamental of Nursing Lab is aimed at helping the students to acquire knowledge, understanding and skills in technique of nursing practice. The lab is well equipped with patient simulators, CPR mannequins, life form hand simulator etc. Three sides of the lab are lined with 12 hospital beds holding “patients” (mannequins) dressed in hospital gowns with a pillow, a blanket, an over bed table, a bedside table, a bed side locker, infusion stand and a bed screen for privacy. All required articles are placed in different cupboards to demonstrate nursing skills.

  • Students are trained in Basic Nursing procedures & Advanced procedures. This lab consists of cots with mattresses, charts, mannequins, advanced Nursing Models, instruments & articles necessary for procedure demonstration.

     

  • Anatomy lab:

The anatomy lab is specially designed for you to learn human anatomy through cadaver-based dissection. There you will work in teams to discover the complex anatomical relationships among muscles, nerves, vessels, and more ETC. In the Human Anatomy Lab, you will be able to examine the tendons and muscles you're learning about in the classroom up close. Then see how they function and track how they interact with other parts of the body in an experience you can't replicate in any other way.

Anatomy and Physiology provide basic knowledge about the human body. It helps in clearing the fundamental concepts as to how our bodies function. With the help of the classes of anatomy and physiology, one gets to learn not only the theoretical concepts but practical functionalities of the human body too.Our Anatomy Lab is Spacious, ventilated & well equipped with seating arrangements and charts, posters, models.

 

  • Child health nursing lab:

Students are trained in Advanced procedures and skills related to the specialty. This lab consists of cots with mattresses, charts, mannequins, advanced Nursing Models, instruments & articles necessary for procedure demonstration.

  • Community health nursing lab:

Spacious, ventilated & well equipped with seating arrangements and charts, posters, models, health education plans. Health folders & records related to services provided to the adopted villages are maintained by students.

  • Nutrition lab:

This lab is well equipped which facilitates students to learn to prepare various kinds of therapeutic diets.

  • OBG lab:

Students are trained in Advanced procedures and skills related to the specialty. This lab consists of cot with mattress, charts, mannequins, delivery model, instruments & articles necessary for midwifery procedure demonstration.
